This degree program covers the fundamentals of biology and microbiology with opportunities to explore a wide range of subjects such as human genetics, environmental biology, medical biology, marine biology and microbiology. The first of its kind in Cyprus the specialization in Microbiology is based on the American Society of Microbiology (AMS) guidelines. Students get hands-on training in state-of-the-art laboratories for Biochemistry, Molecular Biology and Microbiology and have the opportunity to participate in high-level research programs and practical training that links their studies to career demands in the field.
