Language, Speech and Hearing Clinic

The first University Language, Speech and Hearing Clinic was established at European University Cyprus in 2011. Here students are trained under the direct supervision of experienced Speech Pathologists, according to International Accreditation guidelines.  The Clinic is a safe and controlled environment where students learn and practice clinical skills while providing high quality diagnosis and rehabilitation services for Language, Speech and Hearing disorders to people of all ages and social groups without discrimination.  The Clinic is a site for on-going research and outreach programs, conducted by academic and clinical faculty:  students obtain experience in high quality clinical research related to various areas of Speech Pathology, including speech and language, phonation, swallowing, and hearing. The Speech and Hearing Clinic of European University Cyprus offers unparalleled clinical and social work with more than 23,500 diagnostic and therapeutic sessions since its inception.

Clinical Practice

Students complete three semesters of clinical training at the University Clinic, and then they are placed in an external clinical practicum site during their final semester such as hospitals, nursing homes, diagnostic and rehabilitation centers.

Registration for Licensure

Graduates will be able to register with the Cyprus Speech-Language Pathologists Council to qualify for licensure.
