European University Cyprus Established the 1st Science Shop in Cyprus

European University Cyprus comes closer to society by creating the first Science Shop in Cyprus. The EUC Science Shop has been created and operates with the support of the PERARES (Public Engagement with Research and Research Engagement with Society) FP7 project. Its goal is to bridge the gap between Academia and Civil Society with the objective to develop this Information Channel with CSOs (Civil Society Organizations) and to ensure the initiation of as many Projects as possible to answer Society’s Questions in the most professional way. It provides Research Services to Civil Society Organizations to help them find answers to their problems, free of charge, by utilizing the resources of the university.
