International Agreement of Collaboration between European University Cyprus and Carleton University – Canada

European University Cyprus has signed an international agreement of collaboration with Carleton University. Carleton University is a dynamic research and teaching institution located in the capital of Canada, Ottawa/Ontario.

Carleton University is one of the top universities in the world; it is a public university, offering more than 65 academic programs across a wide range of disciplines. In 2013-2014, Carleton was ranked 276-300 in the Times Higher Education Supplement rankings, and 401-500th in the Academic Ranking of World Universities. In 2013, Macleans ranked Carleton as the 6th best comprehensive university in Canada.

Carleton is reputed for its strength in a variety of fields, such as

• Engineering,
• Humanities,
• International business and
• Many of the disciplines housed in its Faculty of Public Affairs (including international affairs, journalism, political science, public policy and administration, and legal studies).

 
IDEAS, the world’s largest bibliographic database dedicated to economics, has ranked Carleton University’s Department of Economics among the top three per cent in the world in the field of international trade.

The agreement with Carleton University further strengthens European University Cyprus` position in the international arena of Higher Education Institutions.
