Experiential Workshop by the Music Club of the European University Cyprus at the Cyprus Association for Persons with Autism

As part of Volunteer Week, the Music Club of the European University Cyprus organized a unique, emotional, and inspiring event at the Cyprus Association for Persons with Autism. During the event, members, students, and alumni of the Music Club of European University Cyprus collaborated with individuals with autism in a creative workshop that included crafting improvised percussion instruments.

This process fostered participation and self-expression through music while offering a unique opportunity for collaboration and communication. Subsequently, the members of the Music Club taught the participants how to play the instruments and create music together.

The event concluded with a festive singing session, where everyone sang and played their instruments, enjoying the joy of collective creation and the power of music.

This event serves as an outstanding example of the power of volunteerism and music in promoting inclusion and social connection.
