EUC Among the World’s Top 101+ Universities in the 2024 Times Higher Education Impact Rankings
European University Cyprus has been ranked among the world’s top 101+ universities in the 2024 Times Higher Education Impact Rankings for the category of Quality Education.
For the fifth consecutive year, European University Cyprus’ Times Higher Education Impact Rankings have seen improvement across all categories including Decent Work and Economic Growth, Reducing Inequalities and Good Health and Well-Being.
Times Higher Education Impact Rankings assess universities on an annual basis in a range of categories that align with the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDG). Given that a commitment to sustainability is essential for the world’s higher education institutions, the rankings highlight the work universities do for society at all levels – on campus, in their local community and beyond—to advance these goals.
European University Cyprus excelled in the category Quality Education (SDG 4) among 1,681 universities from 122 countries. The catergories and criteria set out by the UN, according to Times Higher Education, are the means by which top institutions are assessed and recognised for their commitment to advancing the right to education and ensuring access to education at all levels, from childhood development through secondary education and beyond. By focusing on sustainable education practices, they equip students with relevant skills and foster effective learning outcomes that are essential for the future workforce.
